Emergency ambulance expenses
In case of an accident or sudden illness, service provided by the emergency team to the insured person and/or transportation expenses for taking the insured person to the nearest medical institution where adequate medical assistance can be provided.
Emergency Ambulatory Treatment expenses
Expenses for medical services rendered to the insured person in the emergency condition that does not require a stay at a medical institution for more than 24 hours.
Emergency hospital treatment expenses
Expenses for medical services rendered to the insurer in the emergency condition that doesn’t require a stay at a medical institution for more than 24 hours.
Emergency dental treatment expenses.
In case of a toothache and according to the diagnosis, emergency tooth extraction expenses.
Emergency ophthalmological expenses
Expenses for medical services rendered to the insured person in case of acute traumatic eye injury.
Repatriation expenses of the insured person
Air or auto transportation of the insured person if he/she is sick, injured (in case of death, the corpse of the insured person) to the nearest international airport in Georgia or to the nearest border crossing point.
Expenses incurred by the insurer / insured person which are not subject to refund to the insurer / insured person or otherwise reimbursed if the insured person is forced to cancel the trip before it begins, during the covered days, if any insured risk (reason of cancellation) occurred according to the policy.
The smaller expense amount between the additional expenses incurred for changing a return ticket to Georgia and buying a one-way economy-class ticket, also, the amount of the unused part of the covered expenses that is not eligible for reimbursement to the insurer / insured person, or any other form of compensation other than the cost of a pre-purchased refundable ticket in case the insured person has to interrupt their trip after departure within the insured period as a result of any insured risk (cause of early termination) specified in the policy terms.
Denial of entry to the Schengen Zone
Expenses incurred by the insurer / insured person which are not subject to refund to the insurer / insured person or otherwise reimbursed if the insured person is compelled to terminate the journey due to denial of entry into the territory of the Schengen area by a representative of the EU / Schengen Member State Border Service.
Loss of Luggage
Expenses under the applicable sublimit, if the insured person’s airline loses the luggage checked in by the insured person while travelling by plane.
Expenses under the applicable sub-limit in case of a flight delay, expenses paid by the insured person to spend a night at the airport hotel, only in case the airline refuses to pay the above mentioned expenses and the incurred expenses are not subject to refund or any other compensation to the insurer / insured person.
Within the relevant sublimit, expenses (including protection costs) the payment of which is the legal liability of the insured person during the travel period, for the damage caused by an unexpected event: bodily injury to a third party and / or physical injury to the third party's property
